The storm came into Fort Bend with a green tint to it. I watched and chatted on the phone while watching it come in. The downpour began right when my brother called with news of rotation in Southwest of us.

I went home and grabbed a quick look at radar to see that the rotation would cross just north of us. Going back out to view the storm I could see the intensity of the lightning and the sideways rainbands coming in.
When the storm passed a brilliant sky remained, giving me the opportunity to use my new Digital Canon Rebel XT! I so love this camera!!!!! You can see the mammatus in the skies. I used the EF-S 19-55mm for the wide angles and a 70-210 Vivitar for the sunset picture.
